Three 2-hour sessions · $60
(project materials not included)
Experience Level: Advanced Beginner
Class description: Learn the basics of sock knitting using circular needles (rather than the traditional double-pointed needles). Special techniques include the Norwegian Cast-on and the Kitchener stitch.
Supplies needed:
Yarn If you are an experienced sock knitter, you can choose a fingering-weight yarn, or the yarn of your choice. Students without prior sock experience will require a worsted-weight yarn.
Needles Skacel Addi Turbos are highly recommended (their cable design make this sock knitting technique much easier than other circular needles).
