Caryn provides the following dye instruction in Silverdale:

Dye Workshop
One 6-hour lesson · $50
Must have previous personal dye experiences. Come dye yarn/roving for your project in my dye workshop. I have all the supplies. We'll be using Lanaset/Sabraset dyes, which are appropriate for protein (animal) fibers (wool, silk, and nylon). I have yarn available for purchase.

Self-striping sock yarn
One 6-hour lesson · $75
(plus $25 materials fee)
Learn how to use Lanaset/Sabraset dyes correctly and safely. We will be using a warping board to wrap our yarn to get the self striping sequence for socks. We will dye enough yarn in class for two pairs of socks (400 yds each). [Beginner Level]

Hand-Paint Fiber or Yarn
One 6-hour lesson - $75
(plus $25 materials fee)
Learn how to use Lanaset/Sabraset dyes correctly and safely.  Learn different methods of hand-paint to achieve the effect you want.  Can dye fiber, yarn, or both.
